The Cristo Re institute of the Rogationist Fathers of Messina was born on 10 June 1946,  to support the  most needy people within the  Messina community.
For over 75 years it has been involved in charity and volunteering, assisted by capable volunteers,it offers comfortable accommodation and a hot meal to the poor of the city, through the projects"Mensa del Povero" and "Le casa d'Accoglienza" for men and women, carrying out annually food
collections, located in the various supermarkets of the city, useful for the sustenance of the institute's guests.

Now, in 2024, due to the importance and continuous increase of quality and services and being in line with the developments of the world, Christo re’s logo will be redesigned in a completely minimal way.
